Indecisiveness, a plague

Siegfried is part of a small family where each member of the family has very different personalities. However, they all have very specific goals in life and that was something that was found very early in their life. However, the little Siegfried was very different; even if he had a lot of potential to do anything he wanted, he had absolutely no idea what he wanted to do with his life. Not even looking at the different jobs his family had helped, especially not when one of them was a lawyer while the other one was an engineer. And, even his siblings had already decided what to do with their life: doctor, teacher, psychologist… Meanwhile, none of these really sparkled Siegfried’s interest.

“Sieg, we love you a lot, but you really need to make up your mind! Otherwise, you’re not going to get far, sweetheart.” Those are some of the words that the little Ralts have to live with. Due to him being known as the family failure was completely drilled into him, Siegfried didn’t have a lot of determination to do anything, as his indecisiveness made him the black Mareep of the family.

The one giving him hope

After a while, Siegfried was allowed to meet other Pokémon who all have different shapes & aspirations, and that intrigued him a lot. Though, with him not usually knowing how to behave, he typically drove others away, but this changed when he met a certain Charcadet. He was a little peculiar with the shadow aura that always surrounded him, but the Ralts could tell that he didn’t mean any harm at all, quite the opposite in fact.

This Charcadet with the name of Aster noticed how left out Siegfried felt and decided to invite him out a few times. This time spent caused Siegfried to slowly look up to the shadow Charcadet and to learn about the idea of exploring and learning about the mysteries surrounding the world they live in. Unlike everything else, that idea intrigued Siegfried, although due to the insecurity he built up from his family, he was very hesitant at the idea of going forward with it. And, even when getting invited by Aster to explore, he still declined…

Hmm...why not?

As Siegfried stopped hanging out with Aster due to the latter’s absence, he reflected for a while…and also tried making new friends. Unfortunately, it was incredibly difficult, as the amount of energy he eventually gathered from hanging out with Aster was slowly overwhelming others around him. Aster had shown him a lot of things about the world, and Siegfried started feeling back about leaving the Charcadet behind, especially with words of how he was his closest friend.

One day, the Ralts finally gathered the courage to go find his friend by leaving for an expedition. None of his family believed in him, but Siegfried packed his things then left off for adventure. Although, it seems that he had fallen into a mysterious cave before being teleported…to an island? While looking around, the Ralts noticed he was in a completely different world, but fortunately for him, he was quickly able to find his friend, who had also been thrown into this new world. A new adventure awaits for the two…
