Errantstep is a spirit of StarClan. He's scrawny, has one blind eye, and is covered in scars.
Personality
Errantstep is hardworking, passionate, and empathetic. He gets along well with kits and apprentices. Though he's cheerful and friendly, he has a violent side and can be vengeful and overprotective. He’s never been in a situation where he had to kill, but would do so if necessary. He has trouble sleeping in enclosed spaces.
While he was recovering, he was deeply spiteful and unmotivated. He caused a lot of trouble for his clanmates, but eventually earned respect again through his difficult journey to becoming a warrior. Still, he's unused to being praised.
Bio
When Errantstep was an apprentice, he was popular and outspoken--until he was kidnapped by deputy Trickthorn. Lacking the mental or physical strength to fight back, he was kept in a cave, starved, and tortured for many moons. During this time, he was presumed dead. This only ended after Douseflame also got kidnapped. Though he was younger than Errantpaw, he was already a warrior. Errantpaw thought him an utter idiot, but he managed to take Trickthorn out and kill him.
Afterwards, Errantpaw was brought back to the medicine den and spent a long time recovering. He alternated between bouts of rage and depression. It was only long after the fact that he learned Douseflame was banished for killing the deputy. Errantpaw's clanmates visited him, but he rudely turned them away. It took time, but he eventually learned to live again.
Errantstep became kinder once he regained enough strength to become a warrior. He became a well-respected warrior and died of a relatively young age in a heroic battle against a fox. As a StarClan spirit, he lazes around and argues with the other spirits to let him visit Douseflame in the Dark Forest.
