The leader of a gang referred to as EDEN. It's unknown what it stands for, if it stands for anything at all.
Actions speak louder than words and gunshots can drown both of them out. Nevertheless, Taiyo will use all three to his advantage when given the chance. He is a cutthroat and cruel man to all who stand against him. Some would say he treats his associates even worse.
You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone with anything nice to say about him. The few who praise him have effectively been conditioned not to think otherwise, and even then, they are not safe from his outrage.
"to smile while you suffocate and die"
HealingTaiyo has the ability to heal others and himself, though this only works on injuries, not ailments. It also tends to work better on plant folk. The full extent of this ability is unknown, as he uses it very sparingly, especially in regards to others. Maybe it's for the best— it was said that this healing was excrutiatingly painful in the moment.
If for whatever reason he does choose to heal a wound, it is unlikely to even leave a scar, unless the injury was very bad.
Silver TongueFortunately for him, and unfortunately for anyone around him, Taiyo is a master of manipulation. It doesn't take him long to find out what makes someone tick, and it takes him even less time to use that against them.
To him, the few that are able to see through his deceit aren't worth his time anyways.
Little is known about Taiyo's past, motives, or plans. For someone so selfish, he often refrains from talking about himself. Beyond EDEN, he's rather hard to place.
EDEN itself seemed to appear almost overnight. They gained just enough notoriety to be feared and had just enough charisma to keep recruiting members. The gang's initiation— being restrained with burning-hot shackles and having its name carved into your back —did not deter potential inductees as much as kill them.
A large part of the gang is drug-oriented. Their specialty, a drug only obtainable through them and said to induce hallucinations that could last for weeks, was crafted from one of their member's own blood.
Supposedly, a fire claimed the lives of both Taiyo and his entire gang.
If you're unfortunate enough, Taiyo himself might tell you otherwise.
- Hates loud sounds.
- Has no reservations about committing crime in broad daylight.
- Being the leader, he is the only person in EDEN besides his right-hand man without initiation scars.
- Impeccable sense of timing.
- He doesn't need to eat. Nor does he want to. He finds most food distasteful.
- Precise aim. It is practically unheard of that he misses a shot.
