This character has quite an interesting history behind them! They were originally designed as part of the Xynthii closed species, but it appears sometime around 2017 they were converted into a Candyfloss. Their original design actually had the grandfathered trait of having both black and white in the same color palette, which is really cool! In 2022 they were mutated during the January Sour Invasion event. The image that's their reference for it was uploaded here on February 1st, which is the day after the event officially ended, which is pretty odd. I don't know if they forgot to upload the pic or if the design didn't get approved until then, haha. Additionally, the mutation gave them new markings and traits, which should have had to go through the redesign center before being mutated. Maybe the designer had admin privileges lmao. Still interesting to note, though!
