Makarovich

A nerdy spectacled cormorant (spectacled spectacled cormorant, technically, as he wears actual spectacles) who is apparently great at computer science, mathematics and politics.

Hailing from the Commander Islands of the Russian Empire, though he may seem clumsy on land due to his body type as well as an eye defect that he was born with, Makarovich (or Makar/Mark for short) is definitely more than just that. Not only is he an excellent swimmer and diver, he is also a very resourceful bird who knows a lot about politics from his time in the 1810s. He always dreams of being an officer of any rank in any military (though that is most likely never going to happen). However, due to his obscure interests, almost everyone refused to talk to him before Nakeiki stepped up and decided to befriend him.

Ever since Makarovich was transported from the past to a scientific research facility in the future, he had faced culture shock from literally everything about his surroundings, but he quickly got used to all of that. He has gained a liking for fish and baguette sandwiches served in the cafeteria of the facility, and is always up for a friendly competition to see if anyone can finish their meal faster than he does.

Also, Makarovich is just his surname. His full name is unknown.
