Probably some fae-like creature Raised as a Christian of nonspecific denomination. Never actively worshipped God but does believe. He sees it as a personal thing and isn't very open about his beliefs, but does take it very seriously. Priests were scared of him so his parents stopped taking him to churches pretty early on. He once saw an angel when he was young after being caught outside in a hurricane.People have always naturally found him a little unsettling. Tried really hard to get people to like him before eventually getting in with the wrong (or right, depending on how you see it) crowd and going a bit crazy with it. Abel doesn't mind it much anymore and doesn't try to "fix" others' perception of him. "I am decidedly not a bipedal moth and you shouldn't have bright lights in my general vicinity because i wont react weirdly to it actually!" He embraces people being afraid of him. He doesn't quite feel all that human anyway. Grew up in a low-income household in the outer city. Doesn't have very expensive taste or impressive educational merits. "Did you guys not meet your diversity quota..." Hobbies consist of being broke and cloud gazing. "No actually, what does he do for fun?" | Has on and off paranoia episodes about angels watching him. Says the oddest things in answer to anything and doesn't elaborate. “I maxed out on karma buying coffees for my life my junior year of high school with frosted coffees from the unspecified Christian chicken restaurant…if i get any more ill be reborn as a caterpillar…” A very mellow guy (usually). He always seems to be looking out for something... He acts casual, but is quite untrusting of older people. "As long as you dont try to feed me holy water someone already tried that one on me" Abel is more cruel to his friends than his enemies sometimes. He has a habit of being possessive of people and desires power over them. He has trouble fully realizing the idea of sin and morality. He goes back and forth on not worrying about it at all and worrying about it too much. He doesn't know if he wants to be a good or bad person.
