  • The umbrella she holds is Daydream's bonded item, which she recived since a little child from her dad
  • The friends she is around the most are her artist friends
  • Daydream has gone to many places, but she always looks forward to being near a big body of water
  • When it rains, Daydream dances in the puddles, as long as no one is looking
  • On a windy day, Daydream almost flies away given how resistant her umbrella is to turning inside out
  • Out of the characters she made, Daylight would have to be her favorite because she has a soft spot for Dew
  • Is often sorry to McDyver for the name she gave his character since Macdad calls him that all the time
  • It still amazes her to see her characters in many places on items

✩Bio✩

Small but having a vast imagination, Daydream is inspired at almost any point of the day. She is a famous children's book illustrator and writer, popular for her original book series "Raindrops in the Sky". It's about a tiny little bowroo by the name of Raindrop that learns to make friends in the sky, the forest, and the sea. All the characters are simplified and characterized versions of her many friends, with the main character being based off herself. She didn't expect all the attention she got from it, and is still overwhelmed by the response.

Although this keeps her busy most of the time, she continues to be an art teacher at Sweet Melody Academy. To support and fund the school, she sells products made of her various characters from her book, from lunchboxes to interior items to even boats thanks to Captain Brunch! She wants nothing more than for the school to continue their mission of teaching kids through song and art, so she braces all the attention despite desiring to be a normal illustrator alone once more.

With all the interaction she had over the years, she still gets flutterflies in her belly when talking to so many people. Her conversations can suffer from awkward silence, and she gets a bit drained from it all. She has to take many lunch breaks alone just to have an ounce of alone time within the day. All this responsibility and attention has left her being able to only be close to fewer friends than she was before.

The drawbacks of being famous can be a downpour upon Daydream, but she always looks up to await where this all could take her and the school to next. With the umbrella of her friends keeping her dry from tears of overwhelmed feelings, she can't help but keep imagining and creating the story about them all.

✩Mini Backstory

Born to a bowroo who was a tailor for sailors, Daydream and her twin sister, Skyline, grew up near the sea for as long as they could remember. Daydream would always look out upon the sea to get inspiration to draw. Her father, Osco, noticed this and gave her a new sketchbook every birthday, with her filling in the sketchbook by her next birthday.

They lived a calm and pleasant time on their dad's boat house. By the time their dad retired from tailoring, Daydream was headed to college to chase her dream of being a children's book illustrator. It wasn't easy, but it came so natural to Daydream and she was in work by the end of her schooling. During her studies and her career, she met a lot of friends, much more than she anticipated making. Her amount of friends only grew when she became an art teacher, and was elected as the general school representative of Sweet Melody Academy.

Inspired by her fondness for all her friends, she began doodling little characters based off of them, naming each character after what she thought best represented them. She made little stories in her head about their adventures, and it was then she realized she had a deep desire to create her own book instead of only illustrating for others'. Daydream was too nervous to show any of her friends what she drew, much less even wanting to publish her writing that she was shy about. She kept the drawings hidden away, but one day she dropped one and one of her friends picked up the drawing.

Beyond embarrassed, Daydream tried to quickly take back the drawing from her friend Ribbon, but her excitable little eyes had already set themselves upon the character made of her. Loudly gasping Ribbon asked if that was her, and Daydream reluctantly admitted it being so, afraid Ribbon would be offended. (particularly since she drew the Skullcracker standing on two legs) Much to her surprise, Ribbon was in awe of it and asked Daydream to show her everything. After a long day of giggles and amazement, Ribbon suggested Daydream show her other friends and go through with making the book Daydream dreamt of making.

One by one, Daydream revealed to each of her friends their character, and the response was way more positive than Daydream could imagine. Everyone was supportive of her going through with writing the book, and after some time and discussion, Daydream eventually published it. From that day on, the book's popularity skyrocketed, and this had many set eyes upon the school Daydream worked at. Being so inspired by all the love and support from her friends and family, Daydream made more books of the series, and still does til this day.
