History

Born July 1st 819,487

Ana Suriel [Soo-ree-el], an Unfortunate angel who wishes for equality.

With her small wings, she was quickly disliked since birth. Most angels only want perfect, full angels with absolutely no flaws. Her mother wanted to get rid of her as soon as she was born, and try for another child- but her father begged against it. Her scleras' were dark gray: indicating that her magic level was quite high, so she was expected to make up for the ugly wings with impressive and strong light magic. She was.. incredibly bad at it, and doubted herself her entire life, until she discovered dark magic. Dark magic was much easier for her but left very.. dark markings. The use of dark magic for angels results in black, unsightly veins and skin- mostly on the arms or sometimes under the eyes and mouth. Angels have very light, almost milky blood that can be tainted very easily by dark magic. She tried to hide the marks with long gloves, but was eventually found out by her mother, who reported it immediately, and had her removed as soon as possible.

She was banished from the Angel Territory instantly at only 14. She eventually arrived to the main city of The U.T. to try and find a job or someone to help her, and fortunately ran into Shayta during a very rainy evening. Shayta invited her home to clean up and Ana told her what had just happened. Shayta understood what it was like to be treated the way she was, and kindly took her in. They live together now, and they get on great- Shayta’s even helping her improve her magic skill. Though Shayta's not a huge fan of the dead animal smell, so there's sweet smelling plants all over the apartment. Ana is unsure if she wants to leave Shayta when she’s an adult- maybe she’ll stick around..

Though she sees herself as an ‘outcast’, she fits right into the U.T., as many are there for the same reason as her. She’s met a few new friends like Nathan and Olivia, and she even met her Idol Esther a few times- thanks to Shayta! Life gave her a lot of bad luck, but shes turning over a new leaf, nobody cares about the dark magic here. She’s free.

She is considered one of ‘The Unfortunate Few’ because of her small wings.

Skills & Abilities

• Skilled necromancer for her age, can revive small animals whenever she pleases.
• She likes flowers and gardening, though she often forgets to water them, Shayta usually does it for her. She can’t stand the smell of rotting animals, even though she loves reviving them, so she has a large collection of sweet smelling flowers all around the apartment.
• She’s also taken quite a liking to preserving dead flowers- after reading a book about necromancy she discovered a whole chapter on keeping dead flowers the way they are, so they would stop crumbling apart. She thought they looked very pretty and studied the chapter a lot to get the spells right.

• Pretty high magic level, as seen by her dark scleras.
• Not good at light/healing magic, dark magic is her strong-point.
• She’s kinda fidgety, she doesn’t like staying in one spot.
• Since she likes bringing back some small animals from the dead, they make a bit of a mess- that Shayta mostly has to clean up.
• Doesn’t like eating red meat. She just doesn’t like the taste.
