Lived in Appel village as Icosa. He was a guardian of the village and well loved.
Then some typical tragic backstory stuff happened (targeting his future sight). Village is destroyed and he loses his memories/identity trying to protect it. Because he lost his memories, his form became tiny (wyvern dust mote) and the people couldn’t find him. They thought they’d killed him, so they gave up chase and unnamed eventually woke up in the village. He didn’t know what had happened, but could basically just float around at that point. The village was starting to show signs of its time being unwound, but only just so. Unnamed was starving, and managed to take memories from the village around him. He learned about what had happened to the villagers, as well as gathered some memories from them as well. Their hopes, dreams, and care for each other. And he cared for them too, despite having lost all memories of their time together.
He took on the name Caspin from a mixture of their memories and his human form reflected them as well.
A traveler came to the village a few days later, having gone to visit a family member, and found him there alone and confused (he’d gained some memories, so he was bigger by then). The falconer was devastated by the destruction and loss of their family member, but they offered to take Caspin to the their home, because he might have been important to someone too.
Caspin gleaned memories off of the traveler’s belongings, and built much of his early sense of self from fond memories of the falconer, their family, and their work. He learns to work with the birds.
He starts getting flashes of things before they happened, and slowly slowly pieces his abilities together. He becomes known around his neighborhood for these premonitions, and most people are chill about it.
He tells the falconer about it, and they basically are like find your own meaning/wants in life (in a kindly way). A past future does not define you
He travels for a while, eventually ending up in Arcadia before Azareth becomes a floating island. He makes friends with Riley, and then realizes Morgan is like him.
The war with Oatherion happens, and he lends his abilities to help end the war with as few casualties as possible.

Doesn’t know what he wants to do at first, but later finds joy in sewing and fashion. He apprentices to a tailor, who eventually hands the business down to him.
[Evelyn exists in the world and is still up on her shit, but the two never meet]
