About
The oldest of the Valorheart twins, you'll usually see Hades walking around with a grumpy face - and, from time to time, following his sister and "that Hughes guy". Although, on the last occasion he'll probably look more tired than anything.
From time to time, a rumour might echo around the corners of the ocean about someone wanting Hades' head on a silver plate. Maybe he's not the type to make many friends... Or maybe it's something related to his job? Not many people know the truth.
Personality
It takes a long time and lots of effort for Hades to open up to someone. He only did it twice, and oh my Skadi, was it painful (and worth it, but he won't admit it). Hades is your angry dog priviledge, but sometimes his nothing but a scary puppy. The thought of losing his family sometimes keeps him awake at night - that, and Quentin. After almost losing Nix, Hades became overprotective with the people he cares about. He's a good shoulder to cry on as well, after all he has four of them.

The eyes in his void follows his three eyes, even though they don't function at all. He usually doesn't cover his chest.

Backstory
Since the beginning, Hades was pushed around to be great and to protect his sister. He failed in both. Or at least, it feels like it sometimes.
With a job that was hardly recompansated, Hades saw himself alone with the only person who'd truly appreaciate him no matter what: his sister. So, they decided to live by themselves when things got tough. Although they disagreed in a lot of things, they found confort in one another.
When Nix [REDACTED], and consequently cut contact with Hades, he went ballistic. He tried his best to go after her, failing everytime - and thus, his mental health only got worse every day. But he was alone. And no matter how much he tried, nothing seemed to change that.
Not until Nix changed her mind about him, that is.
After saving his sister from dying at the hands of vengeful humans, they vowed to never get away from each other again. Deciding to run away from their problems and travel to a far away place, both twins ended up living nearby Flicker Forest - where eventually they met Quentin Hughes.
Meeting Quentin changed Hades' life for better, although it took him a long time to realize it. The Lanternal quickly found his way into his frozen heart, earning a nickname from Hades. "Quin" was the one to confess their feelings first with a little help from Nix - and by "help", I mean threats.
FUTURE: running away from the past isn't something you can do forever. When a certain siren leaves the ocean for the first time in years, Hades is unsure he'll be able to protect his loved ones. He can't fail... Not again. So he'll do anything to stop her.
Relationships
Nix
His twin sister and his favorite person in the whole world. What he'd do to see her smile...
Quentin
Quentin brings the long-lost poet inside Hades. Maybe it's his persistence or his good looks, maybe it's his sense of humour or the way he's vulnerable around Hades... But Skadi has mercy on whoever hurts his Quin.
Waylon
He hates him. If he changes, good for him, but it won't stop Hades from hating him. Maybe one day he might just dislike him, who knows? It won't be better than that, though.
Deméter
One of the only things you can be truly certain about is death, except how or when you'll die. In Hades and Deméter's case, they know with certainty by whom they'll perish - and perhaps only one of them will be right.
Trivia
- Hades' name comes from the greek the god of the underworld - no wonder why he's got beef with Deméter's counterpart, huh;
- Although he's the oldest twin, Nix's design was created first;
- His voiceclaim is Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect with a native Australian accent;
- He avoids mirrors - maybe he shouldn't avoid therapy;
