Yohannes is a well meaning, curious man who is frankly rather unremarkable to a lot of the people who meet him. He blends really well into the surroundings, which fits him very nicely, as he doesn't mind being left out of the socializing too much.

Being a normal human, who grew up in a normal human settlement, his understanding of other species is a bit limited and shaped by his years away from home (as there were not a lot of non-humans where he lived.) Most people either doesn't mind him or finds him a bit odd, but rarely disagreeable.
