Goofball was one of Alyx's original parents. Alyx has completely given up on Goofball. Any love she had for them has been erased. They made it clear they don't want to change, and that's alright.
Vex is the first parent Alyx went to after leaving the Blimpers. She had a great amounts of trust and respect for Vex at the start, but now only feels bitterness and anger towards them. The thought of seeing them again makes her upset.
