crown prince parhelion, the only son of queen celestia. to the public, his father is unknown. despite this, celestia has still deemed him a valid heir to her throne. his origin is more complicated than meets the eye..
others around parhelion have always felt a very odd aura around him, as if they knew something about his existence was off but couldn't quite place it. there is just something weird about his presence. ponies have described his presence to be "a little off", "unnerving", or even "unsettling", but can never place their hooves on why they feel this way.
parhelion's personality reflects celestia's gentleness, but also reflects a bit of luna's standoffish vibe. he is certainly charming in his own way, especially in how he has taken up his mother's mannerisms when interacting with others. despite this, parhelion seems to lack a true understanding of emotions. sometimes, he just can't wrap his head around the simple things that make other ponies so happy.
parhelion has shown great promise in magical ventures. it seems he may very well take over celestia's role in the rise and fall of the sun.
in the more recent years, parhelion has found himself in the company of dayspring aura, who has seemed particularly attached to his hip as his friend. while he never expressed interest in becoming her friend, it seemed to just happen because of her persistence.
