Mio

Mio is a really cheerful and humble Tealetta. She is addicted to technology and loves her phone more than anything. Mio doesn't remember much of her past but she doesn't mind as she is really happy and comfortable in the environment she is currently living in. She enjoys baking but due to her clumsiness, she fails a lot. Though, she never gives up and keeps trying everytime.

Mio lives together with the family that saved her life. Tealettas are kidnapped for the quality of their tea. Many people think abducting Tealettas are the easiest way to get rich since their tea herbs are the best of quality and they can be sold for a high price. This is what exactly happened to Mio; when she was smaller she was kidnapped by a salesman who wanted to sell her herbs. She was put up for an illegal auction. When the bidding seem to have stopped, a man stepped in the room wearing black cloak, and he put up a great fortune for her. She was sold to him. Fortunately, luck was with Mio. She was "bought" by an influential detective, who roams the city to put people like the salesman in jail. The man was jailed for illegal auctions and Mio was saved. To thank the man, Mio offered a small cup of her tea to him. Keep in mind that tea from their tails are the highest grade anyone can ever obtain and it regenerates slowly. The man let Mio stay overnight at his house where he lived with his son and wife. She used her herbs found in her ears to make some tea for the whole family and eventually, she grew closer to them and they gave her the decision to stay with them. She decided to stay.

Years passed by and she grew closer and closer to the son of the man, called Aito. She is in love with him but she is shy to talk about her feelings because she thinks Tealettas and humans can't be together because of their differences. She keeps the feelings to herself only but she takes all of the opportunities to be with him. When he gets a scar or a small wound, she would offer him her handmade band-aids and use her NYA AID box that contains a lot of great remedies.

In the world of humans, she grew addicted to technology such as phones. She got a phone from Akira and ever since then, she surfs on the internet all day.
