Carlson

Carlson was born in the outer regions of the kingdom, and as such he didn't grow up with too many friends. However, when wandering around the woods at night, he was attacked by a Cravax, a ferocious kind of feral demon well know for being the death of many a young child. However, another demon saved his life. It turned out to be the youngest of all the Sins, Greed. After Carlson managed to get over the shock of almost dying and then meeting one of the most important people in the kingdom, he thanked him profusely. They eventually began to talk more casually, and Carlson actually befriended him.

For a while Carlson managed to keep the fact he was best friends with one of the most highly ranked people in the whole kingdom a secret from his mother, however Greed eventually wanted to take Carlson with him on his journey and teach him to use his magic much better. Carlson was afraid his mother would say no, and so he simply left with Greed without asking. He still occasionally sends her letters, careful not to tell her what he was doing. He gets homesick occasionally, however he enjoys his time with his friend more than he would staying home, so it's not that often.
