Miles

Miles is an octoling, and was initially in training to be a soldier until he was injured in a building collapse and lost his left eye. He has impressive mechanical skills and is able to fix just about any object as long as he knows its intended purpose, and takes great interest in any material that explains the inner workings of a machine. As a person he is generally quiet and tries to avoid confrontation if possible, but will try to do what he thinks is right, even if he is terrified.

He is initially good friends with Margin, although their relationship is not a healthy one and he mostly stays with her out of fear. After realising how poorly she's treated him, Margin tends to keep her distance from Miles, but he has new close friends in Ilia and Harper.

Miles does not have strong physical skills compared to most other octolings from the domes, but he occasionally plays turf war with friends, and his main weapon is the Octobrush.
