Looking the most like his mother, Osprey initially seems like her opposite. He’s shy and keeps to himself, but when poked, displays glimpses of a world he keeps hidden. He fakes a smile and plays nice to get along with others, but much prefers to diligently work on his own. Perhaps it’s because he looks so much like Sunlight, he’ll sometimes imagine himself in her place - it’s he who wears the crown, it’s he who rises victorious against a tyrant. He watches others carefully and gathers info on them - and this on its own isn’t good nor bad. He hasn’t grown enough to figure what he wants to do with it. For now, he’s content watching and waiting. He’s content with others thinking he’s shy like his father, conflict-averse like his grandfather. Osprey doesn’t give much others to work with, so they tend to extrapolate the traits of his family onto him.

Deep inside, he feels the burning competitive drive of his parents. His paws itch to do something grand. He wants to be remarkable, Osprey wants to be someone. He wants to prove to himself. Unassuming one moment, then shoving someone out of the way to catch their prey the next, he’s rather unpredictable. He garners ideas of the world that aren’t quite true but that he wants to live up to anyway. A world where righteous rebellions win, true love surpasses colonies, and well, where the good guys always come out on top. If he believes his intentions to be true, why wouldn’t fate be on his side?

For now, Osprey is content to be serious and quiet on his own. His loyalty is given sparingly but devotion in full. When it’s time, he’ll be incredibly hard-working and unshakable in devotion to his colony.
