Rye can be a lot to take in. She is very upfront about her feelings, and can be rough and rowdy. She is very passionate about protecting her forest, and its safety is always her top priority. She likes protecting those close to her, and her bite is a lot worse than her bark. Rye rushes in a lot and can be quick to anger, but she has a big heart and does her best to follow her ideals.

Rye's parents- a human named Reuben and an orc named Iggy- were both woodcutters and carvers. The lived deep in the woods to work, making furniture to sell in the city nearby. One day when cutting down trees, they found a baby in the hollow of one. Seeing no parents nearby, they decided to at least ake her home until they could figure out what to do with her. They were unable to find anyone nearby though, and they started getting attached. They decided to adopt her, and named her Rye.

Rye grew up a happy child, and as she got bigger her parents starting teaching her about their work. She always felt connected to the forest, the trees sometimes even speaking to her. Reuben was a werebear, and surprisingly enough, Rye had the ability to transform as well. They would often go on walks through the forest together, and as Rye got older she saw herself as a protector of the trees. Rye now has been taken far from home, and is working to return to her trees and her loved ones.
