Harper is a rather judgy girl, gossiping about everything. For the people she truly cares about (which is a rare occurrence), she is very protective. Due to her being raised to be perfect in appearance, she knows how the social food chain works and can easily get herself to the top. She is kind and enjoyable when she is alone but becomes very cold when around her mother or her father's business partners. She can come off as rude due to how she was raised, but Harper is attempting to change what she is like now that she is out of High school. It will be hard, but she wants to be a better person.
Background
Harper comes from a rich family who believed that the most important thing in life was appearances. Her father was a wealthy businessman and her mother was one of his mistresses that just ended up getting luckier than the rest. Harper was raised to be perfect; she had the best grades, was on the cheerleading squad, and was dating the quarterback, what wasn't to be loved? In the end, Harper hated it and as her senior year ended and she graduated, she realized she would never be happy like this. She had to rebel again her mother to prove to herself that she was a real person, not some doll to be used.

Summary
Being the only daughter of a high-end Businessman and his charismatic mistress can be a hard life. Harper was raised to be the perfect daughter. While she was given everything she may have wanted that money could offer, money couldn't buy the love from either of her parents. She was never allowed to explore her own interests without being scolded by her mother for wasting her time on pointless things. She always attended Private Schools, surrounded by many children with hard exteriors. In the end, she was the Queen Bee of the school, the Apex Predator. She dated the Quarterback but none of it was ever real. It was all just like a business deal, making her look good.
Now that Harper has graduated from school, she decides it is time for her to figure out who she really is. Her mother can't control her now, she is an adult. Harper plans to attend college, though she refuses to major in Business as her father insists. This leap year will be where she explores what she wants to do and rebel against her parents' wishes.
