Arachnidkit was unfortunately born to a she-cat who died during the birth, whom she never got to know the name of. An adoptive mother took dear care of her, giving the love and care she mother would never be able to give from her grave. Ever since she was a kit, Arachnidkit was named after Dusksun’s liking of spiders, and other types of arachnids. Since Dusksun didn’t have any other kits, Arachnidkit was raised alone in the nursery, so she got used to talking to cats older than her, not minding their presence at all. Her father eventually told her about the truth. Her mother had died during the kitting, but the kit didn’t care much. She never knew her, but it still was sad to know her biological mother had died.
Arachnidkit eventually grew to turn into an apprentice, mentored by Irisclaws. She had an apparently easy apprenticeship, until tragedy struck. Her mother unfortunately died of greencough, leaving her father alone and sad, he barely even got out of his den anymore. On the other hand, Arachnidpaw tried to keep up for her father and mother. With a broken heart, Ravencry eventually died, leaving Arachnidpaw with no biological family to be with. She majorly thought the deaths were her fault, for not doing anything to aid her father and mother. To this day, she blames herself for everything happened in the past.
Time passed, and Arachnidpaw eventually felt like none of the genders existing identified her, constantly changing between them. So one day, she opted to turn into a genderfluid cat, feeling like the label would fit her better.
