Deluge

Deluge originally lived as a blue chimera. Sear fur has now become a dusty lilac after an incident. Dri keeps sear unique fur that is long only around their chest and along sear back. Sear white fluffy chest fur happens to be quite the benefit during Blizzardclan's cold winters. It almost makes up for the rest of the shorter fur sea has.

Once sear pelt had been stainless. Sea takes pride in keeping their appearance up. Time and change has added a few scars to their image. One marked across sear face and another swipe that dug for a heart that sea doesn't have. Another strike destined to stain the mountain with seas blood takes half of sear right ear. Sea expect to have more unfortunate scars in the future.

Deluge has always been rather muted regarding emotions. Ever since dri had been a kitten they have been an outsider to social circles. Whirlpaw only ever made friends due to being dragged around by sear excitable sibling. Rules and stability quickly became something sea focused on. Structure gave sea peace and purpose. Following directions fit for their generally awkward nature. After the death of sear father and sibling seas difficulty with emotions caused a quick spiral. The pain of the loss made sea seek shelter in the cold. Dedication to Blizzardclan came before anything else. It is simple that way.

Unfortunately... even following the cemented structure that Shellsmash had known wouldn't remain simple. Seas frozen emotions have been thawing out. Though they tend to be angry and bitter. Whirlpool's once focused and stone cold expression has gained some obvious cracks. Seas lips curl up much more often in irritation towards others. Everything they had ever done had amounted to nothing to the one single cat they tried to impress. Following exactly to the rules only made them get ignored. Forgotten. Everything that Blizzardclan had ever done amounts to nothing. Sea saw the flickering of the past. Sea has always hated change and yet knowing that the clans dance in a constant cycle made them sick. Puppets dancing on a stage for those that died long ago to watch and laugh as history repeats. Sea had been hit with a crashing wave of emotions they have never known. Yet when the tide pulls away once again all they are left with is hate.

Whirlkit was born alongside sear sibling Snowykit during the age of Dovemoon’s rule to the warriors Shellsmash and Powdersnow. Whirlkit’s parents had experienced the absolute worst of the war with Bloomclan. Powdersnow had lost a parent to the battle against Bloomclan due to the poisoned prey before he was born and Shellsmash had lost all his family members during the avalanche that Scarletsun had caused and perished in. Whirlkit was raised with stories warning sea about Bloomclan’s awful leader. Given every reason to not have faith in the new leadership of Cicadasun. Shellsmash in particular raised his kits to be wary of outsiders. Powdersnow was much more passive while raising the kits, nervous about Bloomclan after everything she had seen but optimistic for the future. Most of Powdersnow’s optimism seemingly seeped into Snowykit.

Once the two became apprentices Snowypaw was always the one trying to get Whirlpaw to have fun. The two of them hadn’t seen anything scary like from Shellsmash’s nursery stories so maybe outsiders aren’t that bad. Snowypaw’s gentle prodding and warm encouraging nature was enough to convince Whirlpaw to at least speak with Grasspaw. Grasspaw was the kit of a cat who had been chased out and executed, and the kit of a cat who had belonged to Bloomclan. That knowledge had made Whirlpaw try to keep sear distance. Sea had a tendency to be quiet and responsible so when Snowypaw finally convinced sea to interact driz came off as calm and stoic. Completely hiding any internal grievances against Grasspaw. As warriors, Snowyslide still never grew out of aer bubbly nature, Whirlpool adored sear sibling but the lack of care toward Dovemoon’s rules could be irritating. Snowyslide went on and on about how cute Whirlpool and Grasswhistle looked together. Snowyslide had a bad habit of dreaming of dramatic romance, despite having no interest in it aerself. Whirlpool didn’t think it would be harmful to at least try and humor the idea. Grasswhistle was nice looking at least. Whirlpool thought together the two of them could make fine kits for Blizzardclan. Even if romance didn’t spark, Grasswhistle seemed capable of being a responsible parent. So Whirlpool tried. Dri made sure Grasswhistle knew of sear strong allegiance to Dovemoon, to Blizzardclan, it seemed fair enough to make that transparent while engaging in a relationship as mates. Whirlpool almost felt close to Grasswhistle, at least in a caring platonic manner, enough to feel comfortable to have a family… but sea had become pregnant a bit too soon. Dri hated being stuck in camp, sea failed to tell Grasswhistle about the news immediately. An avalanche occurring during a patrol Shellsmash and Snowyslide were on didn’t help that at all. The two of them had died, unable to ever see the unborn kit growing within Whirlpool. Powdersnow became despondent, a heart too fragile to handle the loss. Whirlpool wouldn’t be like that. Snowyslide was wrong. Whirlpool should have been out with aer that day. Maybe the mountains had chosen to take Snowyslide, with Shellsmash being collateral. A punishment for aers lack of loyalty. Once Hyperkit was born Whirlpool stared at their kit with burning eyes. It felt better to be angry instead of mourn. It was easier to blame a kit that couldn’t even argue. The moment Whirlpool could sea left the nursery, the Permamonarch’s could care for Hyperkit. It would be better for sea to return to serving Dovemoon and protecting Blizzardclan at all costs. Whirlpool decides it to be best for seaself to serve Blizzardclan by training to be a Keeper, they had lost loved ones in an avalanche after all and sear loyalty to Dovemoon was exceedingly obvious. Once sea was accepted as an option they trained hard for the title, working on it as much as they could while still providing prey for the clan. Becoming a Keeper is Whirlpool’s proudest accomplishment. Though having such an important role to the clan did give Whirlpool a realization about sear child.

There is part of Whirlpool that regrets abandoning Hyperkit once they become an apprentice. Sea should have been building a strong soldier, instead they had forgot why they ever wanted to have a family in the first place. As a Keeper sea believes it is also their duty to help keep stability and loyalty in the clan. Hypervoice abandoned the clan along with Grasswhistle. The event had left sea feeling hollow. Emptier than ever. Recent events within the clan have started to stir up anger within Whirlpool once more, change never felt good… last time change happened sear beloved father and dear sibling had perished. Sear dad became distant and weak. So once again, instead of having empathy, sea would rather boil inside at those who threaten sear normalcy. They will defend Dovemoon, from any and all accusations without thought as a loyal Blizzardclan warrior should. It is simpler that way. At least it had been.. before Dovemoon began to ruin the very structure he built. Much to seas annoyance. So sea decided to try to flip the script. Despite having planned an execution moons before. Sea acted on stage a practiced song to push their purposeful cruelity under the rug. It didn't work. Whirlpool is exiled and discards sear name. Sea is now Deluge.
