Dark Slate Gray is a troubled teen running away from their other life. They're being paid handsomely to blow up digital strongholds, and that's the best possible deal they could've gotten out of this.

He maintains a level of moral dissonance from targets and victims by never seeing them. The less he knows about the target, the better. Which turns into a bit of a problem when they don't do their study for a job, and their collaborators have to give them a rundown of what they're meant to be doing.

They're a little rough around the edges, both in terms of fashion/grooming and in terms of their skill...he's enthusiastic but he has yet to figure out how to do things properly.
