Aigis grew up together with her younger sister Laharl in a semi sheltered Home, she followed after their Mother, Hecate, regarding personality and looks.
Her Parents were the owners and leaders of a very influencial organisation that worked closely together with the Overlord - which also  gained the Family a great amount of wealth and power.
While Aigis is the polar opposite of her younger Sister, she still loves and adores her dearly, only wanting whats best for her.
At the age of 21, Aigis unknowingly joined a cult and got brainwashed to turn against her Family, which caused her to kill their parents and attempt to kill her Sister. Once she realized what she had done shortly after, she banished herself from the Netherworld and fled onto earth, feeling too much remorse to continue staying in her initial home realm.
She stayed on Earth and continued working as a knight until she finally gathered enough courage to return to the Netherworld and face Laharl after three years. Laharl decided to not accept her apology and offer to mend their Relationship, but still tolerated Aigis around her and within her Circle, their relationship is still an ongoing work in Progress.

Aigis lacks in picking up social cues and takes things too literal sometimes, she is very righteous regarding following laws and still continues working as a Knight because of that.
She prioritizes her job over everything and is a workaholic. Aigis spends most of her time at the knights headquarters and has a bad habit of neglecting sleep and relationships in order to follow her obligations as a knight.
She likes animals and is a very clean and neat person, keeping her home always tidy and making sure she herself is also always bathed and well groomed. Ontop of that, she also takes very good care of her things.
