Laharl grew up together with her older Sister Aigis in a semi sheltered Home, she followed after their Father, Asmodeus, regarding personality and looks.
Her Parents were the owners and leaders of a very influencial organisation that worked closely together with the Overlord - which also gained the Family a great amount of wealth and power.
While Laharl is the polar opposite of her older Sister, she still looked up to her and adored her greatly.
However this changed after Aigis ended up turning against the Family and killing their Parents - and also attempting to kill Laharl before disappearing. Laharl got heavily injured but survived and set it as her goal to find Aigis again and take revenge, rage and hatred being almost her entire driving force.
But only after them meeting again years after, she realized that it was not rage and hatred, but pain that settled in her heart. She was unable to take revenge, but also didn't accept Aigis' apology and offer to mend their relationship.
She tolerates her sister around herself and in her circle, but their relationship is still an ongoing work in progress.

The aftermath of the injuries she sustained from Aigis' attempt to kill her is a decrease in her Stamina and three scars, one on her chest and two on her stomach.
Although she has Wings, she is unable to fly.
She is scared of insects, but would never admit it as her Pride is too high. She also has extreme abandonment issues, which is why she keeps people around herself at an arms length distance.
Laharl cannot cook, but loves good food - she either eats at taverns or orders food to pick up and eat at home. She is very hygenic and hates the feeling of being dirty.
