Dr. Pepijn Verlinden (Young Pepijn)

A once baby-faced young man, Pepijn was and is still known for his meticulous mannerisms. He may appear mean and haughty (he often is), but he is well-meaning and will give 100% in anything he does. His resourceful thinking ensures he and those close waste nothing more than they need. He's very forthright even when it may be unwanted, but others may come to appreciate what he has to say.

Although he had a strong appeal for the open waters, Pepijn found great importance in the function of electricity and wanted to explore new ways to produce and harness it. Upon meeting Otto in college, who had a project along Pepijn's interest, the young Dutchman was willing to invest in the idea. The collaboration would yield a camaraderie lasting for decades.
