hauttie has a tendency to drive others away by being rigid and uncompromising. despite this, she naturally a social creature, and thrives off of interaction with her peers. although she is very loyal to her inner circle, she is generally distrusting of people and tends to assume the worst in others. she reads too far into others' words and actions and tends to take everything personally. although she's usually pretty harsh to the people around her, a softer side of her appears around close friends and family. she has become a bit spoiled due to a luxurious upbringing and is way too prideful for her own good. hauttie rejects the notion of conformity, and views herself as a trendsetter.

backstory [ modern ]
although usually well-intentioned, hauttie has been raised to believe that she deserves anything she wants. until her college graduation, everything had been handed to her on a silver platter. shortly after her college graduation, hauttie's parents were convicted of tax fraud and stripped of the family fortune. so far unable to find a job in which she can use her degree in fashion merchandising (largely due to her negative attitude in interviews), hauttie has been working as a flag girl at a post-modern-themed racing track in her city. it's not unusual to hear her complaining about work, bills, her terrible apartment and landlord, or life in general. despite her significantly decreased income, hauttie remains determined to live a luxurious lifestyle, often forgoing basic necessities in favor of partying or buying luxury items.
