Callista

Bright, sweet, and kind. She is often undetected by justice systems because no one expects such a kind girl to be part of the interstellar Stellaron Hunters. Callista is bubbly and excitable despite her dark past, but with little qualms about killing or hurting others. Despite this, she is haunted by the karma of lost lives she failed to save on her home planet. Callista becomes more erratic and reckless the more power she receives from any Stellaron.

Created on a planet of unknown origin in the appearance of her creator, the ruler of the planet. [REDACTED] was created with the intention to house the Stellaron plaguing the planet, redirecting its power instead to rule the planet fairly- through the abilities of mind reading and projection. Her joints were made of puppet-like features and her hair would never grow. [REDACTED] spent many years studying the Stellaron with her creator, but ultimately failed to fully absorb the Stellaron. She permanently has a partial Stellaron within her, giving her full access to her abilities, but did not absorb the rest of it. Soon after, the planet was destroyed by the Stellaron and [REDACTED] left alone.

While traveling on merchant ships and manipulating her way through a wandering life, she was approached by Kafka of the Stellaron Hunters. She brought her to Elio, who promised to fulfill her dream of becoming human, and named her Callista. Callista began her work in the Stellaron Hunters before Silver Wolf but after Blade as a scout entering planets ahead of time to scout the area and people with her mind reading powers, as well as locate where the Stellaron was. Fell in love with Kafka many years ago and acts increasingly nervous around her, which Kafka has found amusing to tease her about. Helped 'raise' Starling and was the most visibly upset when they had to 'abandon' her.
