Born a city rogue in a sizeable litter to a single parent, Carrioncrawl (then Crow) was only two moons old when he was swept away from his family in a great storm. The rains knocked him into the sewers and wrenched his memories,anything before that night is foggy and may never see the light again. At some point after the storm eased and the sewers were less flooded, they were found by a ShadowClan patrol and swiftly taken back to camp. After a fruitless attempt at asking where they came from, they were formally added to ShadowClan's ranks, and dubbed Carrionkit.

Carrioncrawl feels he died that day, disconnected from whoever he may have been but wanting to know despite that, if only to pay tribute to the kit lost in that storm.
