Percidel is one of the main characters in a book that i am writing called "Royally Screwed" about 5 royal kids who go on a quest to find magic stones to restore power to their gods
Percidel spends his whole life listening to what others tell him to do rather then what he really wants.

BACKGROUND
Prologue
Growing up Percidel's family had always pressured him into becoming a mage. It's a family business. He was glad to do this but his father was overly hard on him. He was sent to mage school very young and was assigned to Ed when he was only 9. Ed who he is in love with.
Royally Screwed
Percidel is not part of the quest. He just follows Ed around to keep him safe. Even though his father wants him to marry another woman he still wishes to be with Ed. When they give the gems back to the gods Moon speaks to him. She tells him that she's sad she'll never get to be with her love Sun again and that she thinks Perci should chase his dreams.
Epilogue
Perci learns more and more about magic every day and stays in the castle with Ed. They eventually marry and Perci teaches young mages.
TRIVIA
- His staff is an hairloom made from Moon's tears.
- He hurt his ear and right eye in his final mage exam.
- Peridel is close with Raine, Ed's aunt and the headmistress of the feline mage school. She chose him to watch after Edward.
- Percidel hates when people call him Perci. That doesn't stop them.
- Percidel's grandfather killed Nathens family.
