Sunshine

First appearance: Volume 1: Prologue page 2 , chapter 2 of book 1

Family: Vermilion- father. Sunshine loves to go and cheer her father up and always tries to spend time with him, often going on walks together. She truly loves him with all she has.
Quartz- mother. She loves her mother, but thinks she can be quite scary when angry.
Cyan- younger half-sister. They are extremely close. Always sharing and chatting with each other.
Scarlet- younger half-sister. They don't get along very well, though Sunshine always tries to fix this.
Ebony- younger half-brother. They aren't particularly close, but they do love each other. She likes to watch him work in the forge or draw, especially when he does it outside.
Gold- aunt.

Silver- "step mother". She hardly remembers Silver, as she left when Sunshine was very young.

Miscellaneous: asexual, she likes being in her bird form more than most.

Backstory: She's the "official" first-born child of Vermilion, the king of the Avian kingdom. She's not exactly what her mother wanted, but her mother found a way to use this to her advantage. Sunshine is usually wandering around the palace, talking to everyone she finds, solving their problems if need-be, and playing in the gardens. Unlike all other royals and nobles, she did not master "high form", which is a type of martial arts that trains your mind and body to go to its absolute limits to achieve maximum power, but instead she focused on other forms, which suited her better. She loves to watch Cyan train, and occasionally help her. They are best friends.
