Toyah

Toyah, or Roxy, is a young musician who struggles with depression. She also displays autistic traits in being socially withdrawn and nonverbal, generally opting for writing on her phone what she's thinking. She also has some tics that may just as well be interpreted as her really getting into music, whether it's playing or just in her head. 

Most recently she's resided at a mental health clinic recommended to her by Shawn Snow, her therapist. She's also slowly begun transitioning, previously she lived with her father and her relationship with him has grown strained over time as she's grown older.

Toyah favors interaction online over face to face interaction, save for select few people like her girlfriend Patricia. Music and DJing provide an outlet for her creativity without having to talk. 

Her interactions with Mockingbird have happened in very suspect circumstances, which is where her alias Toyah came to being when she hadn't decided on her name ultimately being Roxy and not liking people using her deadname, even less so someone like Mockingbird. Whatever happened in private between the two, it has left Toyah very frazzled and intending to keep distance from him.

She is dating Patricia Hayes, a childhood friend she resumed contact with again which is also when she figured out her own trans identity.

Some of Toyah's influences are Janelle Monáe, Grace Jones, Laverne Cox and Lupita Nyong'o.
