Aita is the last dragon born from the Sun dragon.
Some time after her birth, lots of dragons started to fall ill. This tragety lead to the near extinction of dragons. It starts off with their skin starts to change color from rotting (turns purple), whole body starts to change color. They also start to lose their limbs slowlyuntil they reach near-death: when spoken to, they start to freak out n not understand what is being heard them.
As more research was done, they found out that the disease was connected to Aita. With her withering and dark magic,it got cross contaminate in their crops causing it to spread within the race.Things started to get more difficult for her. She started to get blamed, harassed and even physically threatened. This was hard on her as she didn't even understand how all this was happening (she was just born yknow).
She got depressive to the point that she got herself contaminated so she could rot away and die like the others would like her to. But she had an older brother, Mercury, that prevented any chances of her offing herself.

Eldest Brother
Mercury protects her from all the foul words and hate that was pointed towards her. He does baby her a bit, but it's for the best since she really still is a baby. He wants to make her feel better ever since the tragedy of dragons.
This brother was away during the events and has no ill feelings towards her
Because of this, Neptune became a safe place for her. He lets her climb all over his mane and lay in existance with him. He is also a pretty good listner so it is easy to vent to him(he's most likey spacing out).
