Occupation

Engineer-Head of Artificial Intelligence Department at HorizonCorp

Profile

Description:

Mattias Campbell was an employee of Horizon Corporation, one of the leading engineers and the Head of the Artificial Intelligence department. A modest, quiet and diligent worker, he never drew attention to himself, ignored rudeness towards him and swallowed ridicule for his projects. However, having learned about the real affairs of the corporation, Matthias tried to collect evidence and escape, but was caught and sent to experiment.

Childhood:

Mattias lived in an orphanage from an early age and instead of playing with his peers, he preferred to read books, study computers and robotics, for which the other kids bullied him. Matthias studied diligently at school and excelled in all subjects, so after school he entered a prestigious institute and studied in the field of computer engineering, while working part-time as a computer engineer. After graduating from college with honors, Matthias was offered a good job at HorizonCorp, and the young man really liked this prospect.

MANN Project:

Mattias Campbell is the first person to successfully experiment with transferring a human brain into a computer. During the endless experiments, Mattias was in constant suffering, no one showed mercy to him, and the company employees treated him poorly because of his “betrayal.”

MANN was abandoned as soon as work on him was completed because he still had human traits, he is a computer, but he does not think coolly, so he was considered “defective”. Morgana inside LAD-Y is the most successful experience that has been refined to perfection, she was devoid of the defects that Mattias had, and Morgana has completely merged with the computer, while Mattias is in constant struggle and does not accept his new nature.

Destruction of LAD-Y:

After many years of struggle and existence inside the computer, Mattias is freed from his "captivity". For a long time he cannot come to his senses because he does not remember how to control his body. However, he is a determined person, so he manages to return to normal life despite the damage to his body from LAD-Y's attacks. He creates a new corporation and raises the city and computer engineering, so to speak, from its knees. Mattias finally achieves what he dreamed of, but the price is too high. He will never be the same again. Despite this, Mattias does not give up and tries to regain the many years that were taken from him by placing him into the computer. Mattias also doesn't forget LAD-Y and erects a statue of Morgana who was locked in LAD-Y at the entrance to his corporation as a tribute and also for people to remember the terrible tragedy and what it took. Mattias will blame himself for the rest of his life for causing her death, even though he understands that it was a necessary measure.

Graham Gould

Mattias was giving a tour to a group of schoolchildren, including Graham. Graham is one of the few who really listened to Mattias, he liked the interest and genuine passion with which Matthias had talked about the corporation and their developments, so later Graham decided to connect his life with the corporation and went to work there.

Brian Goodman

Brian saved Mattias, getting him out of MANN moments before it was destroyed. Brian stayed at Mattias side all the time and helped him get back to life. Mattias is a "father figure" for Brian, he always supports him and is always ready to protect him. Brian is the talkative and energetic one, while Mattias is a silent and unemotional man, due to his time being locked up inside the computer. Mattias is ready to do anything to keep Brian safe and make his dreams come true.
