Amaris

Daughter of the goddess of the moon. Blind, but as a gifted oracle, every time she opens her eyes she is able to focus on the glimpses of past and future and see them as clearly as others see their present surroundings. Now, as a result of a curse cast by Alcina, her mother was turned into stone, and now she is the only one who can undo it. She needs to find fallen stars, and then weave their light into a quilt- in hopes that their warmth might help her mother. Each fallen star follows her in a shape of a butterfly, until she finds enough of them to weave the quilt.

Yet, through the duration of her task, she is not allowed to open her eyes and see the past or the future. 

Her flowers are the "star flowers" gathered from her own garden, their scent is adored by the fallen star butterflies

the flowers glow at night! Their petals contain little galaxies, while their leaves and stems are made of gold
