BACKSTORY
Tazrinn grew up in a lizardfolk tribe, being one of but a handful of dragonborns. They were seen as a "bad omen," as they were quite clumsy and prone to destruction. Not only did this cause tension between the tribe and Taz, but their mother, Daccir, always looked down on them. Their relationship was straneous and hardly livable. Things became especially unbearable when Taz accidentally burned down part of Daccir's home. Taz's father, Ardorinn, a caravan trader, tried to be there as much as he could, and let Taz live with him whenever he was home. They shared many great memories with their time together. When Ardorinn gifted Taz their ukelele, they began to rebuild their relationship and reputation with the tribe, although they were never able to fix their bond with their mother. Things had been going great for Taz, until Ardorinn went missing along with a clan relic. The tribe leader violently questioned all who had any relation with Ardorinn, resulting in Daccir's death. Tazrinn fled their tribe and has been on the run ever since.
RELIGION
The Myastan Clan practices a religion centered around "The Opalescent One," a white dragon believed to bring strength and prosperity to lizardfolk and dragonborns alike. Dragonborn in the tribe are seen as godly and are meant to bring good fortune. Salazin, an elder lizardfolk, is the head religious figure.
Tazrinn has a stranious relationship with the religion. While they believe in The Opalescent One, they feel bitter towards the institution, especially Salazin.

Trivia
Personality
Tazrinn tends to be quite emotional. Despite its rough exterior, its feelings can get easily hurt. They also can have extreme reactions to triggers relating to traumatic events.
They tend to cling to anyone who shows them kindness, as that was hard to come by in their clan. They easily became attached to their party members, particularly Bethniya (or "Niya") as they were the first to bond. They would put their party's life before their own.
Notes
- Its sexuality is not something they have thought much about as it was quite normalized in their clan. While they may not be aware that is not the same for the rest of the world, they remain unlabeled, but lay somewhere on the asexual spectrum.
- Despite her complaints, Tazrinn refers to Bethniya almost exclusively as "Niya."
