Appearance

Ovidia is a rather tall and slender woman with broad hips. She has straight, long blue hair that she ties into a bun with some rebellious strands sticking out of it. She has two big strands before her face, always putting one behind her left ear - she gave up trying to do the same with the other one - and two thiner ones framing her face. She has an oval face with big, round yellow eyes, giving her that surprised look she always seems to have.

Ovidia is often seen wearing a black sleeveless crop-top ending with two yellow bands around her upper-stomach, a white slim jean and black high ankle boots. A yellow bandana with coffee beans pattern is tied around her neck, and a brown belt with a coffee shaped belt buckle around her waist. She also wears two bags on her belt where she stores her coffee cups. She sometimes wear a yellow turtleneck with black flared trousers.

Personality

Ovidia is often described as approachable and friendly, but not someone to mess with. She has what we can call "cool aunt" vibes - someone with a laid-back attitude, who doesn't seem to worry about anything and lives her life carefree. Ovidia also bears a "motherly" personality due to past experiences and her home life. She often tries to protect or help those younger than her and offer them support and comfort. This side of her can be seen mostly on battlefields when she tries to cheer others up, especially when the situation is desperate or appears to be. This "motherly" side makes her very protective of those close to her, especially her immediate family, as shown with her little sister Fawn. Ovidia can also be very serious when needed. She's able to think rationally and rapidly take the best decisions based on how current circumstances are. Due to that analytical side paired with the caring one, she often acts as a sort of counselor to her peers, especially to more inexperienced heroes.

But despite that relaxed and quite composed demeanor, Ovidia can be easily annoyed and she does not hesitate to show it. She sometimes throws some sarcastic jokes or comments with a bit of sassiness, but it's often with people she either dislike or that have a cocky behavior. Because of that, she can sometimes be a little too harsh on people with her words completely exceeding her thoughts. She's hardly ever genuinely mad though, except when her buttons are pushed. Another flaw is, while she can be seen as an advisor, she doesn't like wasting her time. She will gladly listen to others' issues but will grow frustrated if the person doesn't go straight to the point. It also applies to her own life, not liking small talks or making her wait for too long. This side of her personality caused her quite a lot of troubles during her teenage years.

Backstory

Ovidia grew up in a family of 7. Her parents were agreeable and somewhat loving, but due to their respective works, they often came back home exhausted making them unable to look after their children every so often. Ovidia - being the oldest - had to take care of her fratry for them, acting as a sort of "third parent". Because of that, she had to mature and take responsabilities at an early age, leaving her feeling like an outcast compared to others. Feeling very left out, Ovidia tried to compensate that lack of care and time her parents didn't gave her by dating multiple people during her teenagehood. Sadly, most of her lovers either couldn't keep with her pace or started to find her too annoying. Those experiences broke her even more and her home life became more difficult. She had to bottle everything up since she couldn't talk from heart to heart with her parents - mostly because they were tired - making her distance herself from her own family. Nobody seemed to understand her pain, they blamed her behavior mostly on puberty, invalidating her suffering even more and forcing her to shut it down completely. That lack of consideration for her feelings was reinforced by her not wanting to seem "weak" in front of her siblings. This made her go into adulthood with the impression she completely wasted her teenage years.
