Cosmo-Electrokinesis: Lyra's primary power is directing lightning from within her body through any part of her skin, though it is most powerful directed from her hands. Received from a celestial lightning strike, she can also summon cosmic storms under great emotional and physical stress, though she has never been driven to this extreme before so she has little practice of conjuring and controlling one. She can also read minds and memories through electrical telepathy (reading someone's neuron signals) via physical touch, which often results in a spark across skin contact. Through this, she has the ability to take control of the neurons and potentially control motor skills and thoughts of the host, though she has never attempted this. She can hover up to 40 feet in the air for short periods of time via weak electromagnetic manipulation. If hit by any electric attack, she can absorb the energy and channel it out for extra strength.

History at a Glance

Lyra grew up in a research facility with her parents, who were working for a government program to find potential cures for cancer. She received quality education from the best local teachers but didn't have much social interaction. When she was thirteen, she was fatefully struck by lightning during a freak thunderstorm: when she came to, she had Lichtenberg figures along her back and shoulders. Throughout the next year, she discovered she could harness lightning at will and redirect it. Her father took interest and promised her any testing would be for the good of medicine, but her mother refused to let her participate. She later left the family suddenly, leaving Lyra to trail after her father's wishes. His tests grew quickly from non-invasive to potentially fatal, driving her to investigate his real intentions. She discovered he had no connections to the medical world and was only using her to harness her power and try to recreate more like her. She attacked him at her first chance and burned down his lab, presumably killing him in the fire. Once free, she was able to exploit her father's government position to get a scholarship into a university, where she earned an associate's degree in electrical engineering. She worked a humble position as an IT assistant during the day, while at night she managed a dark web business for assassins and mercenaries--herself included. She cared little for her morals, instead only seeking money and gratification from her powers.
