Calistro Lucidi !!
An agent and vigilante, but more importantly a mercenary. As his job implies, he has a very weird moral compass. Serious and silently judgemental, with a lot of internal anguish that he bottles up. Despite this, he does have a good sense of humour and can be quite affectionate in a soft, quiet way. He likes anything sweet and comforting.
Known (notoriously or with acclaim, depending on who you ask) as the Draconic Devil of Milan due to his red outfit and the fact that well, he operates and lives there. Currently hired to work in the task force against Karik’udu’s underground business.
He’s not proud of some of the things he’s done; his swords have deep-seated stains on them.
[Magic Details] Calistro is associated and working with magic users, but believes he is of entirely mundane heritage, meaning he does not have any magical powers himself. He has above average fighting prowess and a great mastery in bladed weapons.

a sharp and constant pain
- calistro was born to an italian mother and chinese father. father was an immigrant and took on mother’s surname.
- he doesn’t remember much about them anymore, but they were always generous to him and cared for him. he was too young to recall the rest.
- calistro grew up as a quiet and really obedient kid, didn’t really stand his ground. he always had his parents to back him up, to clean his scrapes when he fell.
- until one day, they were gone. one day he was never picked up from the primary school, and waited patiently with a teacher. the teacher was pulled aside, and he remembered them wailing after a few moments of muffled conversation. officers came by with a badge he wasn’t quite sure from where. they did a terrible job explaining the situation, but he didn’t know how to word his questions. where was ███████ on the map? who were those people? what did his parents do to deserve this?
- that night, he was sent home to pack his things, to be moved to a foster care service. he stayed in the empty house for a very long time, and was completely quiet. it was the first time he spent the night at the home alone, and the first time he stayed up all night. this is the only memory he has left of his childhood home, though he can’t even remember the details that much.
- following the loss of his parents, he was moved from place to place, and everything blurred into each other. he was in foster care, then the church’s orphanage, then back to foster care. he grew up religious, attended mass and sunday church, but he never really interacted with the others. he didn’t really connect to his foster families either.
- after acting out as a kid, a nun told him his parents didn’t obey the lord and that’s why they died. this was the first time he heard his parents referred to being dead, and if it came from an authoritative figure, then that must have been true.
- he seemed to have shut down completely after that. seems to have more repressed memories about his childhood, but he doesn’t know either. a headache of a phrase constantly repeats in his head. you’ll never find peace nor closure for something you don’t even know happened.
- luckily for calistro, his current foster family were disgusted by this incident. they just so happened to receive a new job offer in Milan, and wanted a fresh environment for the children in their care. things were starting to look up. his foster family moved to the new city with him, and assured he didn’t have to go to church with them anymore if he’s uncomfortable. he still went, partially out of a sense of responsibility, or guilt that their move might’ve been his fault, he’s not sure.
- while still in school he took on odd jobs, as a way to become more independent, or gain some sense of control in his life, maybe. he got all of his piercings done when he was a teen; collecting new piercings and earrings was his most common coping method whenever he felt frustrated, saddened, or empty.

- white eyelashes and red eyes (naturally without makeup); his sclera can appear red like his eyes at times as well (occasional stylistic choice, optional to draw)
- short black hair, it grows quite slowly so his hairstyle stayed pretty much the same throughout his life; he sometimes wears a baseball cap with a long bill which covers up most of his hair. he’s also incapable of growing facial or body hair

- uses the misconception that he is a magic user to his advantage
- he does have opportunities to perform minor elemental magic, though only through a charged amulet supplied by his boss.

Mrs. Delarosa
Calistro’s boss who hands him his tasks, and various snacks. She also supports him financially outside of his job, providing the housing he lives in at the moment. He’s still working to warm up to her, but she’s incredibly affectionate and caring, and looks out for him like her own son.
Mr. & Mrs. Lucidi
Calistro’s birth parents. He wouldn’t say anything about them, but he misses them dearly. He’s stopped holding out the hope that they’re still alive somewhere.
