Galamel

General notes:

• They and their fraternal twin sister, Breryk, are hybrids, half Towerstep and half Hoofdrake. Interspecies marriage/offspring between Towerstep is highly frowned upon (unless it's with Avian goldspinners, which Towerstep have a long-standing alliance/reltions with). Breryk got much more of the hoofdrake genes than Galamel, who you can only see it if you already known tbh.
• Mel and Breryk have to constantly prove themselves to their clan-members that they are worthy to stay in the clan and deserving of (basic) respect, work hard within the beastguard and take on dangerous jobs/otherwise unsightly jobs because of this.
• Mel is on the larger end of Towerstep, where height/heft is a greatly determining factor into hierarchy/respect. This earns her some deference despite her hybrid blood. 
• Galamel enjoys fighting, but much more enjoys metallurgy and smithing. These are widely popular and culturally significant crafts within Towerstep culture, but Galamel has a passion for it even beyond that. Loves making decorative but also practical armour/weapons (particularly loves swords and axes). Also has a strong interest in making these for different species (not just towerstep and Flighted'spinners) which is something within the clan that isn't technically frowned upon... but they certainly want their efforts/best artisans to be making stuff for them first and foremost. And they don't want trade secrets getting out either.
• Are Hkaarhesa because she and her sister don't get on well with the other beastguard/operate most productively and effectively as a specialized unit. Are most often sent on beastguard jobs just the two of them, or are sent as reinforcements to an already active event. Very feared by Pyridekk and Valencia beastguards, they're not fun to deal with and if they're instructed to kill, there will be many casualties. 

• Softspoken. Generally pessimistic, worrywort. Slow to anger but when she does it's explosive and it's brutal (often regrets what she says/does in the moment later). Trouble expressing their true feelings with words. Plays dirty, happy to lie to get things the way she wants, doesn't have a strong honor code like her sister. Strives for praise and likes to please others. Generally cynical, believes the worst of others, doesn't believe creatures do things for eachother without personal (bad) motives, their sister is the exception of this worldview. Perfectionist, will destroy something and do it from scratch over and over and over again.
• Enjoys morbid things.
• Brutal when fighting, aims to maim and goes for the kill without hesitation.
• Raspy low voice.
• Hard introvert, absolutely hates crowds events gatherings whatever. She becomes a wet pathetic thing left out in the rain and wants to leave as soon as possible. Does just hate being around others but also overstimulation issues.
