The queen of a far north kingdom out in the tundras named Icefell. It's a difficult life; the cold and snow make finding food difficult and engaging with politics outside the kingdom a far off dream. As one of the handful of unicorns and perhaps the most powerful (or least burnt out), she's responsible for keeping the storms at bay during the relative summertime so that her people can grow crops and store up for the winter. She has particular talent over ice and snow which makes her extra good at her job. It also makes her a bit resentful at times; she wants her people to appreciate what good she can do aside from simply keeping the cold away. It's not enough to make her turn evil by any means - she clings too deeply to her morals for that - but sometimes she'll make a winter's day a little extra rough when she's riled up. That's not often though, she's mostly just... tired. She could ask for help from the only kingdom farther north, but they're even less magically inclined and anyways, she and Queen Blizzard Aurora are on extremely rough terms. Especially now that the winters are getting worse...

Diligent • Endurant • Resentful

Silver Snowdrift is nothing if not a hard worker. Some queens make their people do all the work for them, but not her. She puts in her blood, sweat, and tears into every day. She has to in order to ensure her people's survival. Although she's very tired at the end of the day, Snowdrift has a lot of "get up and go" that enables her to get up the next day and do it all over again. She's the sort of person who is built to weather the storms, no matter how bad. It just... it's so exhausting. She does a lot of work for her people! She really wants to be appreciated for everything she does, but it's kind of expected of her and she doesn't often get thanked. It's almost enough to make her snap, except she cares about her people too deeply. Still, there are some days where she just wants to make it everyone's problem.

When it comes to presentation, Silver Snowdrift tries to make herself look put together. Her people have seen her exhausted, but she tries to put on a cheery face over it. It doesn't always work (sometimes she snaps too much), but overall she's doing an okay job at keeping spirits up. She thinks she ought to be able to ask her people for help when it comes to her issues, but she's queen! She can't just put that on them. Even her wife often gets the defanged version of how she's doing. It's rotten work sometimes. She'll be fine if only the winter would end. Promise.

• Her horn is perpetually frosted over from all the magic she does. It does cause problems sometimes, but doesn't interfere too much with what she has to do.
• Snowdrift's regalia is old and from a simpler time. The jewelry has been passed down for generations, and the cape is from a few years before the winters became worse. It's decent quality and well cared for given the circumstances.
