Kai is one of the many shamans in his clan, filling the duty of his clan by keeping dark spirits at bay using his khakkara staff.
Kai is the older and slightly taller brother of Ako. He is assertive, cold, and grumpy most of the time, a much more vulgar and intimidating personality than his sister's.
His stern and overly serious attitude usually gets in the way of making any allies and friends. Because of his job and duty as a shaman in his clan, he must show no mercy toward these corrupted spirits.
Although he may be very cold at first, he is gentle in the face of nature. He is most calm and happier when he is around Ako since she is his one and only family.
