Only a select few people in Featherhopper's circle know about their past with Mal, mostly because of how they hate to admit their own weakness. During their time at Bossbot Headquarters, they were a frequent patient of Mal's, and the first to be subject to her newest build of a toon shock-collar. After lashing out and biting off two of her fingers, Featherhopper was forced through the entire operation without sedatives nor anaesthetic, something that made them terrified to even speak for months. Even now, the memory of her haunts them constantly, the scars across their neck a constant reminder of what she did.
“Huh-?? No. Absolutely not. She’s not even worthy enough for me to waste my time thinking about her. Next question.”
Raven hates Mal; you’d think that her tiny little toon body wouldn’t be able to fit any more rage and hatred in there, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth. She thinks Mal is incredibly uncanny and disturbing and their presence alone is enough to trigger Raven’s fight or flight, and she can never forget what he’s done to both her and the tiny number of people that she cares about. Mal will never gain Raven’s forgiveness, as the bat toon would rather eat a brick than think or say one nice thing about them.
"I mean.. I can't say I hate them.. No I legitimetaly can't, my throat closes if I try."
One of the (if not the only) successful hybrid between a cog and a toon made by Doctor Mal Practice. It was a painful journey, going through half of her limbs being either replaced or coated with metal, but in the end, she was able to walk and breathe again.
A small tinge of satisfaction and.. gratitude towards Mal is felt deep inside her heart.. but it's mixed with the sheer hatred for hurting her friends.. hurting her family.
lemonbutter, as always, doesn't have much of an opinion on her. of course, if she had to choose to save her she wouldnt - the things she heard in that lab are repeated in her nightmares - though she'll happily defend her in an argument and take her side.
"Oh, Mal. That crazy cog, one of my very first friends... taken from this world way too soon, but maybe for the better. May she rest in peace.
...I do not think hell is peaceful, though."
