The Clown is a sorry figure haunting the remains of a circus. His past is lost to him, just like his name. He lives in the now, with no grasp on anything beyond the present. His memory won’t hold onto anything for long. He finds small comfort in peppermint tea and coffee, the flavors and warmth offering brief relief from his aches. But his shaky hands often betray him, spilling the scalding liquid onto his lap. Few names reach him through the fog:

The Clown isn’t mean, just lost and scared. If you cross paths with him, he might cling to you, driven by fear, not malice. He makes it hard to leave him, not because he's dangerous, but because he's so desperately lonely and scared. He doesn’t seek help because he doesn’t understand the concept. He’s stuck in immediate needs, dealing with his pain right then and there. If you need to leave, you just have to be firm. He's living moment to moment, and each one is a struggle. He is extremely frightened by the sounds of balloons popping, (Idea given by Bloonarius) It makes him flinch, tense up, and wail. The Clown is known to take desperate measures to make others stay, but physical harm to others is never, ever on the table for him.
