Profile
Mercedes is an inkling, and the leader of the high-level ink sports team Mace, consisting of her, Arty, Chance and Eight. She is level-headed and responsible, but tends to prioritise appearing as such over sharing any of her issues with others.
She moved to Inkopolis at the age of 17 to live with her formerly-online best friend Chance. Merce grew up with her younger sister who required a lot of care from their parents due to severe disability, and while Mercedes feels slightly distant from her mother and father, she and her sister are still close.
Mercedes and Delilah are ex-girlfriends, a somewhat unhealthy relationship that took Merce a while to find the resolve to end. After a few years the two of them are on reasonable terms again, mostly after some character development on Delilah's part, but Mercedes still has some trust issues surrounding romantic relationships.
She uses the Heavy Splatling Deco, and has done since the lobby was in Inkopolis Plaza, but sometimes she switches to a splat charger if the situation calls for it.
