Lyra Calen

Has core aspects of Elion's personality, but is much better off due to not having his life threatened every 2 seconds. That being said, they still share one major flaw: refusing to talk about his problems.

Trying to help is the main way Lyra shows that she cares. She's the kind of friend that grew up comforting everyone else, so she knows what to say to solve someone else's problems. But she has a lot of trouble applying that logic to herself, holding herself to the same standards, or even holding herself accountable.

As a Librarian, she doesn't feel knowledgable so she generally avoids interacting with people. On the off chance someone does ask her something, she has a list memorized of other librarians to refer them to.

When they were really young, other kids saw how well Ramona and Lyra got along and joked about them dating, pressuring them into being in a relationship. Both figured out really quickly that they don't like each other like that and went back to being friends almost immediately. They stayed friends for years but finally separated when they went to different colleges.

Lyra was also bitten in college, which is why Ramona doesn't know.

Lyra started working at the Library about a week ago. Ramona visits one day, and something feels...off. Ioun acts a bit strange, and Lyra seems different around her.

When she finds out Scott's alive, Ramona suspects Lyra and Ioun are involved, and interrogates them. Ioun tells her that until now, she hadn't even known who Scott was. The only way she would've heard about him was through Lyra, who hasn't talked about him. Ramona leaves, moving onto the next lead.

Ramona's interrogation sparks conversation between Lyra and Ioun, who end up talking for the rest of the night. At some point Ioun starts infodumping about space, which Lyra listens to attentively.

During the movie arc, Ioun invites Lyra over for dinner. They end up losing track of time and he stays a lot longer than he means to, which Ioun apologizes for (He doesn't mind!! She's really fun to talk to :) ) When Lyra finally gets home Naomi raises an eyebrow because she's caught on to what's happening before Lyra has lmao.

During the timeskip between 5 and 6, Naomi teases them about their obvious feelings for Ioun, which Lyra's utterly confused by. Naomi goes "You're kidding." and THAT'S when Lyra realizes she has feelings LMAO. She's been acting like this the whole time she just never put 2 and 2 together herself.
