Based on Fire Emblem Engage

Themis is one half of a set of twins, collectively known as the Divine Dragons. Nobody knows which twin is older; once you've spent a few centuries comatose, it doesn't really matter all that much. They don't even know, nor do they seem to care. The twins' mother is Queen Lumera of Elyos, ruling from the floating fortress called The Somniel.

Themis lives for a good fight and is all about honorable combat. At first this is settled by just sparring with her friends for fun as they travel to retrieve all of the Emblem Rings, but as the campaign goes on she edges closer and closer to "murder-hobo". This slowly starts to worry her brother and her friends, though there honestly isn't a whole lot they can do to talk her out of it, so they settle for keeping an eye on her on the battlefield. When she's relaxing on the Somniel, she seems fine - hanging out by the pool, eating snacks at the cafe, picking fruit off the trees, she's perfectly all right. But it seems like the more she fights, the worse it gets...

Themis's Emblem Ring allows her to summon Lif, a swordsman with a blade given to him by Hel, Goddess of Death. (Lif is a character from Fire Emblem Heroes.) This grants her the ability to sap life force from whomever she hits with it, restoring her own health, and vastly increases the rate of critical hits. Lif sticks by her side, loyally covering her and helping her whenever he can, though he also starts becoming concerned as her love for combat grows ever stronger. His Ring is called "Emblem of the Undying". Lif has an incredibly strong will of his own, being the only Emblem who can actually resist Themis's summons if he disagrees with her. He's done this a couple times already, to try and make a point about her behavior. Coin flip how effective it is.

After the plot shenanigans wrap up, she eventually marries Alcryst. It takes a little bit of work to convince her that he's serious, but it does pay off. She also tries to give up Lif's Emblem Ring, but he insists on staying with her family line. Eventually the Ring winds up in the hands of her and Alcryst's descendants.

References potential game spoilers:

The twins are, biologically, Queen Lumera's children. Their father is the Fell Dragon, King Sombron. The Divine energy and the Fell energy are at war inside their bodies, leading to inconsistent bursts of draconic energy and sometimes interfering with the power of their Emblems.

Themis naturally seems more attuned to the Fell energy, leading to a more ruthless demeanor in combat, pulling her into the darkness and eventually forcing her into Sombron's service. While her friends, her brother, and Lif are eventually able to pull her back, it's not an easy process, and there's still a lot of damage done by her hands. Her fallen color scheme is entirely red and black, with Lif's color palette altered to match if he's by her side.

She initially refuses Alcryst's confessions of love after the war, believing that after failing to resist Sombron's influence she doesn't deserve that kind of attention. Everyone else essentially tells her "that's stupid, we'll always care about you" which does eventually convince her to go for it with him. She also tries to give up Lif's Emblem Ring for the same reason, believing he deserves a better partner, but he also tells her she's being stupid and he's staying.

It is eventually revealed that when the twins are close to each other, the Divine and Fell energies cancel each other out, bringing both closer to a neutral state.
