Story
Shark Shatter is a tom who's lost trust in everything. He was once the kindest most understanding cat known - and now he barely talks or acts on anything.
... Younger (0 - 12 Moons) ...
He grew up a normal kit, just without a father, who died before his birth. He had his brother, Dolphin, who he loved dearly - more than anything, as well as his mother, Stingray Slam. He, at 4 moons old, was introduced to Storm, an orphan kit that his mother chose to adopt. He loved Storm, and immediately saw the kit as his brother. He, Storm, and Dolphin were unseparable and would cry when split up. Even into apprenticehood, they had to be trained together by their mentors, or they'd complain and slump around the whole time. He took the role of the leader of their trio, being the best older brother. That was, until Storm took over that role, and put Shark into the darkness. Shark, soon Shark Shatter didn't mind it much at the time, but felt rather left out.
... Older (12+ Moons) ...
When Shark Shatter learned about Storm, now Storm Bringer's prophecy, he was shoved even more into the shadows of his younger brother. Dolphin, now Dolphin Dive, kept him company before Storm brought Dolphin into the light with him, leaving Shark Shatter alone. He sighed and decided to help, for maybe he could be special too! But then, Storm Bringer bcame the Commander - and quickly the Captain, instead of him. He knew it was selfish, but he felt betrayed - he dreamed of that position since he was a mere kit. He spared the sorrow as Storm Bringer chose him as the next commander. But it still hurt - it hurt to be just second place. He sucked it up and went with Storm Bringer and Dolphin Dive, along with many others, to find Tempest as the prophecy foretold. However, in a tragic fight with a creature named Charybdis, Dolphin Dive was killed. Shark Shatter was out of commission for a few days after that, barely eating, until the ocean got so bad, they might have as well been already dead! He took charge instantly, trying to convince Storm Bringer to flee to land temporarily at the least, but the Captain refused and forced them on. They found the wind god, Zephyr, who directed them to Tempest. However - Tempest was enraged, and not even he knew why. Tempest smashed most of their rafts, killing many including his own mother, who died protecting Storm Bringer from Tempest. They barely escaped and since they made it home, Shark Shatter has made it CLEAR that he hates Storm Bringer - for killing his only brother and mother. Those were all he had left. They were his everything. Now he has nothing.
