Alasteir

BIO

Alasteir is a Suburbionite and a renowned commander from the old war, who joined the crew of the Metamo Ark in order to atone for his past and make amends for the war that no one truly wanted. The peace between the two halves of Suburbionite society is still a bit shaky, and Alasteir hopes that his contribution to the Meteo efforts may help to improve his reputation, so he can seek out peace once and for all. He naturally takes everything a little too seriously, having grown up in a highly militaristic society, and isn't too good with jokes, but being around the rest of the Metamo crew is helping him lighten up a little.

He's kinda scary-intimidating, naturally of course being a commander and all, but the half of the crew that isn't scared of him does get along with him rather well, especially since he's warmed up to the rest of the crew and has allowed himself more emotional leeway than usual. Surprisingly enough, he gets along best with Ziya, of all people. Nobody's quite sure where the connection was forged, though Alasteir does note that he loves listening to Ziya nerd out about superheroes.

He lost his arm in the war, but fortunately the Suburbionites are very skilled with cybernetics- aside from weaponry that's their biggest contribution to the galactic economy- so he was able to get his missing arm replaced with a prosthetic.
