BACKSTORY:

Jules spent most of his life as an avid traveller, visiting many different places around the world. At some point, a leg injury forced him to give up travelling, and he now lives in a rural village called Oakspring where he makes a living as a storyteller, entertaining people around the fire in the evenings. Many of his stories are based on things that have happened to him.

PERSONALITY:

Positive: Brave / Generous / Adventurous

Negative: Grouchy / Impatient / Reserved / Judgemental

Jules acts like a grouchy granddad. He's actually not that old - he just has a "kids these days" attitude that makes him seem older than he really is. He's very secretive, rarely revealing anything personal about himself, and dislikes idle conversation. He can be impatient and abrasive when people go out of their way to bother him, and isn't afraid to verbally tear such nuisances down.

He enjoys complaining about trivial things and can undoubtedly be shallow and judgemental. Despite this, he has a soft side and doesn't like seeing good people suffering. He's been known to selflessly step into danger to protect others (which is how he sustained his leg injury). Though his heart is in the right place, he's not very sociable and enjoys his solitude - hence why he doesn't like letting people know that he's a nice guy underneath his grumpy exterior.

DESIGN:

Jules is a bipedal dragon with green scales, blue eyes and a tousled mop of blond hair. His usual outfit consists of an off-white shirt, old jeans and a heavy brown jacket, finished with a feather-adorned hat.

His walking stick has a notch at one end. He's been known to use this notch to pull opponents' weapons out of their hands.

TRIVIA:

- He can walk without his cane, but his right leg is extremely stiff with the knee joint barely able to bend, so his walk is more of a stumbling limp. His leg also becomes painful if he overexerts it.

- A captivating storyteller, but dislikes reading and writing, preferring to recite stories from memory.

- Can play guitar. Occasionally sings along to his tunes.
