Design Notes:

• Inca Jay gryphon
• Has a sparkly, heart-shaped nose surrounding her nostrils at the base of her beak
• Whiskery feathers form a mohawk-like crest on her forehead
  • The crest does not extend to the top/back of her head
  • The feathers are bristly and stiff (almost like a paintbrush) rather than fluffy
• Small and lanky
• Feathers on her head, neck, back, and wings
• Short, sleek fur on the rest of her body, with a fluffy tail and longer tufts on her elbows (front) and ankles (back)
• Dorsal and ventral sides of wings are different
  • Dorsal (upper) side is green, darker at the tips of the flight feathers
  • Ventral (under) side has yellow "wingpits" and a yellow to dark green gradient on the flight feathers
• Serious case of resting grouch face! Please ask permission before drawing her smiling.
  • Default expression is a scowl
  • Other common expressions include a slight worried frown or a look of "deer in the headlights" panic
  • When she does smile, it often comes out looking closer to a grimace than a smile
